Matter Magazine from December 1983 feat. The Replacements cover. This Boston-centric glossy magazine covered the diverse and eclectic acts of the late 80s with a particular view from the Boston area. It's a great time capsule of the artists and advertising of that era and highlights the native Bostonian commentary of it's own scene. This issue features profiles and interviews from The Replacements, William S Burroughs, Adrian Belew, Fleshtones, Altered Images, Bog Boys, Sisters Of Mercy, The Alarm, ONO, Book Of Lies, Iain Burgess, Long Ryders and more. It's loaded with concert and tour announcements, record reviews, local scene commentary, and lots of advertising for bars and nightclubs in the Boston area. This issue is in great condition with all of it's pages and cover intact, stored flat in a bankers box. A great item for collectors, archivists, music enthusiasts, and nostalgic natives of the Boston music scene.
