A Bond Honoured resulted from Osborne being asked by Kenneth Tynan (a Literary Manager at the National Theatre) to adapt La Fianza Satisfecha, a Spanish play about a man who commits atrocities against society, family and religion, but in the last act he repents his sins and chooses to devote his life to Christianity. First edition, first impression; 8vo; slight offsetting to endpapers, else unmarked internally; publisher's red cloth, gilt lettering to spine, with the unclipped dust-jacket, spine slightly tanned, some nicks to edges, else very good.
