Includes a historical binder's blind stamp from "Geo. J. Brooke, Binder & Bookseller, Gloucester." Condition Report: This beautiful antiquarian set is in **Good to Very Good** condition overall, showing beautifully on a shelf. Spines & Bindings: Structurally sound and firm. Beautifully bright gilt detailing on the spines with mild shelf wear and rubbing to the leather corners and edges. Interior: The text blocks are clean and securely bound. Moderate foxing/spotting is present on the preliminary pages (including the title page and frontispiece portrait), which is typical for paper of this era. Provenance/Markings: This set features neat, vintage ex-library stamps and pencil catalog numbers from the Nazarene Bible College Library on the title pages, as well as a blind stamp from the original English binder.
