This new edition comprises Charlotte Brontë’s The Professor, which she wrote prior to her more famous Jane Eyre, and also features of poems by Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë. This, the first “cheap” edition, was the second British edition (after the first edition, published in 1857), third edition overall. A good copy overall, a few instances of minor spotting, contents otherwise generally unmarked, front hinge split but still holding, surface wear boards, spine faded.
