La Rose later became Chairman of the George Padmore Institute. First edition, first printing, inscribed by the author; 8vo; unmarked internally; publisher's green cloth, silver lettering to spine, with the unclipped pictorial dust-jacket, slight tanning to spine, minor creasing to top edge, else fine.
