First edition limited to 2500 copies. Large format black-and-white images of various animals alternate with haunting (sometimes explicit) male and female nudes. Hujar died of AIDS in 1987 at age 53, sadly without receiving much recognition in his lifetime, though his reputation as an important, truly original photographer has only grown since that time.
