Illustrated account of the first Russian revolution of 1905-1907 by Nikolai Svinenko, a student of Vkhutein (known as Vkhutemas before 1927). Ipatov blames the failure of the 1905 revolution on the fact that the workers and the peasants weren't united against tsarist forces. First edition, 8vo (22.3 x 19.2 cm); 10pp., illustrations in colour throughout by Svinenko; original printed wrappers, a fine copy.
