Single leaf, illuminated manuscript on thick fibrous buff paper, containing the text from Surah al-Ma'arij verse 26 to verse 43, c. 470 by 310 mm; single column, 9 lines scribal black muhaqqaq script, interlinear translation to Farsi in informal black naskh, diacritics in black, two large ilt marginal ornaments marking important sections of the text, verses marked with gold rosettes decorated with red and blue dots, light finger-soiling, early paper repair to outer margin of one edge, in modern card mount. 470 x 310mm (18½ x 12¼ inches).
