Set within ornate Italian-style borders, these flowers represent the 12 calendar months and draw inspiration from the sets of botanical prints popular in the 18th century and still prized by collectors today. Boldly printed, they have been given a modern update with a single, block colour. The complete set of twelve linocuts printed in colours, on wove paper, 2023, signed, numbered and dated in pencil, from the edition of 25, printed by Artichoke Press, London, published by the artist and Shapero Modern Gallery, London, each sheet 29.7 x 21.5 cm.
