First published in France in 1920, this first edition in English translated by Janet Flanner who was a reporter in Paris for the New Yorker magazine from 1925 until 1975. A very good copy, extremities of jacket chipped and rubbed, and a little faded. Cloth a little spotted at the edges, and spine creased, booksellers ticket to front paste down.
