Selling two books from my collection of Lincoln Assassination study books. First is a 1955 limited reproduction edition, No. 275 of an original 1893 book, this one published by "The Society for the Restoration of Port Tobacco, Inc." Originally published in 1893 as “J. Wilkes Booth: An Account of His Sojourn in Southern Maryland after the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln, his Passage Across the Potomac, and his Death in Virginia” by Thomas A. Jones. Second Book is: "Right or Wrong, God Judge Me: The Writings of John Wilkes Booth", First Edition, 1997. edited by Rhodehamel and Taper, personal letters to various people and drafts of "Philadelphia Speech". Very well-documented and referenced work on the political bent of JWB.1 1955 Thos Jones book is red cloth hardcover; original bookplate with numbering (No. 275) by the Port Tobacco Society and signature by then Society President. Pgs intact with minor signs of age and use. Very Nice Condition. "Writings" book is in new condition, harcover with book jacket protected by plastic cover. Pages intact and in excellent condition.
