First edition

First edition of the first Jimmy Treynor mystery, involving jewel smuggling and murder. Presumed ex-library with an identifying number in the middle of the front panel of the jacket and sturdy internal jacket reinforcement. No other library indications noted. Lightly bumped and rubbed with damp stain to the boards and fore edges of the endpapers. Front hinge cracked, rear solid, foxing to the edges of the text block. Jacket rubbed with light edge wear and corresponding damp stains. Price intact, in Brodart. Thanks for looking!
