Solitude.

£250 · Offered by Shapero Rare Books

Solitude is a long, elegiac poem and was seen as the successor to Vita Sackville-West's award-winning poem The Land (1927). First edition, first impression; 8vo; light toning to leaves, slight offsetting to endpapers, otherwise unmarked internally; publisher's orange cloth, gilt lettering to spine, spine ends slightly bumped, with the dust-jacket, slightly toned and marked, spine slightly darkened, spine ends chipped with two short closed tears, overall a very good copy.
