Titles include Une Mission delicate, La Jarretiere, Le Ballon Rouge, Le Fruit Defendu etc. First editions; 20 vols in 4, 8vo; etched frontispiece to each of the 20 titles by Jules-Armand Hanriot, vignette to each title page (some in colour), tinted pictorial headpieces, decorative tailpieces and initials, a touch of foxing to endpapers, light toning to leaves; contemporary half red morocco, original lithograph wrappers bound in, top edge gilt, others uncut, light wear to extremities, overall a pleasing set.
