Kovarskaya was incredibly industrious for her age, designing several books for the Detskaya Biblioteka series, with her first appearing when she was just 10. First edition, small 8vo (19 x 14.5 cm); 8pp., text and black and white illustrations after Zhenya Kovarskaya; original printed wrappers, illustrated by E. Vasil'eva, slight rusting to staple otherwise a fine copy.
