At least two of these volumes were from the library of the poet and publisher Harold Monro with his ownership signature to the 1917 volume and a presentation inscription to him in the 1919 issue. With the late great bookseller Stephen Francis Clarke's (Clearwater Books) pencil annotations denoting the set to have been Monro's. Monro owned the Poetry Bookshop in Devonshire St, London, under whose imprint he published most if not all of the contributors to these very volume. The contributors include, Nancy Cunard, the three Sitwells, Aldous Huxley, Wilfred Owen, and several others. 6 issues, all published. 8vo. Cloth-backed pictorial boards including 2 designed by WIlliam Roberts, title labels to five spines, titles in black on the 6th. Production fault to one leaf of the 1921 volume, some boards a little marked, spines rather sunned. A very good set.
