Gargantua & Pantagruel. First English edition illustrated by Hémard, one of 1,450 copies for sale from a total of 1,500, nicely bound by Sangorski and Sutcliffe. Hémard's drolly illustrated version of Rabelais's 16th-century comic story cycle, also known as Les Cinq Livres, was published in French in 1922.
