Vasily Kamensky was a Russian Futurist poet, playwright, and artist as well as one of the first Russian aviators. He only decided to dedicate his life to poetry after a near fatal plane crash in Poland in 1912. David Burliuk managed to persuade him to return to literature and join Burliuk and Mayakovsky on their Futurist Tour of Russia. First edition, 16mo (17 x 12.5 cm); 111pp.; original lithographed wrappers in black and green by Fisher, neat repairs to spine, a fine copy. MoMA 989.
