Scarce first edition in English of this collection of six addresses of Dr. Theodor Herzl to the Zionist congress. The original first German edition was published in 1914 in commemoration of the tenth anniversary of Herzl's death and to coincide with the Leipzig Zionist Convention, which was held on 14th and 15th June 1914. The speeches included are as follows: First Congress Address, delivered in Basel, August 29th, 1897. Second Congress Address, delivered in Basel, August 28th, 1898. Third Congress Address, delivered in Basel, August 15th, 1899. Fourth Congress Address, delivered in London, August 13th, 1900. Fifth Congress Address, delivered in Basel, December 26th, 1901. Sixth Congress Address, delivered in Basel, August 23th, 1903. 'The collected addresses of Dr. Theodor Herzl are presented to readers of English for the first time.
