This beautiful signed first edition of True Confessions by John Gregory Dunne was published in 1977 and is loosely based on the famous Black Dahlia case, the still unsolved brutal murder of Elizabeth Short in 1947. True Confessions was a best-seller and was later adapted into a movie in 1981 starring Robert De Niro and Robert Duvall, with a screenplay written by Dunne and his wife, the great writer Joan Didion. This is close to a nice perfect gift copy.
