An intriguing bibliographical letter in which Keynes confirms he was the purchaser of a large paper copy of book from Swinburne's library. He tells Sitwell he also owns a regular paper example which he would gladly gift to Edith if she would like it. Keynes letters are not perhaps so common on the market as one might imagine. Examples such as this touching upon his life as book-collector are rare. 1pp., 14 lines typed on single sheet laid paper, letter head of '46, Gordon Square, Bloomsbury', signed 'Maynard Keynes' with manuscript corrections, addressed to Sir Osbert Sitwell, Renishaw Hall, Renishaw, Nr Sheffield.
