Single leaf from a Safavid album, illuminated miniature on paper depicting a young Prince in discource with a female, two attendants flanking either side of the image in attendance, image mounted onto card framed with gilt drawings of birds and spiralling vines, reverse mounted with blank paper, miniature 128 x 90 mm (total leaf 280 x 175 mm); some light discolouration and fading, a little rubbed.
