Moon Magic. First edition. One of the most significant occultists of the early 20th century, Fortune greatly influenced later occult groups and modern pagan movements such as Wicca. Moon Magic was published posthumously, having been left unfinished at the time of her death in 1946 and completed by an associate who claimed to have channelled Fortune's spirit. The book is the sequel to The Sea Priestess (1938). The two novels were treated as "fictionalised ideals" and were recommended to magic newcomers as an introduction to the practices.
