The first separate edition of this important article by Hayek, originally published in the Spring, 1949 issue of the The University of Chicago Law Review. The present reprint was published as ‘An Educational Monograph’ by the Education Division of the hugely influential American advocacy group the National Association of Manufacturers. The article would also later included in Hayek’s 1967 collection Studies in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Not in Cody Ostrem.
