An animated defense of Andrew Jackson and an attack on John Quincy Adams and Henry Clay by Jackson's supporters in Maryland, led by Roger B. Taney, ahead of the 1828 presidential election. Adams and Clay are derided as thieves of the prior election (in which Adams won the Electoral College but not the popular vote) and Jackson is lauded as a military hero and political paragon in the mould of George Washington. It also lists the people chosen to run Jackson's campaign in the state. Only a handful of copies in OCLC.
