M.R. James’ third collection of ghost stories, which features five tales, including ‘The Diary of Mr Poynter’ (haunted curtains!) and ‘The Story of a Disappearance and an Appearance’. A very good copy, some rubbing to the edges of the boards, and water staining along the top edge of the endpapers, not effecting the rest of the text or the binding.
