JOURNAL OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TERRITORY OF IDAHO. THIRD SESSION. CONVENED DECEMBER 4th, 1865, ADJOURNED, JANUARY 12th, [1866]. An extremely scarce Idaho imprint, publishing the journal from the third session of the territorial Council, which met at the end of 1865 through the beginning of 1866. This body acted as the upper house of the legislature and initially consisted of seven members. The journal of the council records the events, votes, and several speeches made in the chamber, mostly dealing with the regulation of mining, cattle ranching, infrastructure, and the organization of the territory. Not in OCLC, though AMERICAN IMPRINTS INVENTORY (IDAHO) notes copies at five institutions.
