Hardcover first American edition, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince published July 2005 by Arthur A Levine Books-Scholastic Inc. In good condition. NO DUST JACKET. This edition contains 7 of the 8 known errors that occurred. It has all 7 of the text errors. The 8th was part of the dust jacket art. This copy does not include a dust jacket. The following is a list of the 7 errors/misprints that were revised in later printings. Each page is shown in the photos. 1. Pg 652 - This edition ends on page 652 rather than 672. 2. Pg 10 - “site” spelled incorrectly, is changed later to “sight”. 3. Pg 100 - “And when you’ve got your eleven ‘Outstanding’ O.W.L.s…” It should say, “And when you’ve got your ten ‘Outstanding’ O.W.L.s…” 4. Pg 103 - “ten ‘Outstandings’” later changed to “nine ‘Outstandings’”. 5. Pg 269 - “a wooden chair” was later added. 6. Pg 476 - “twenty-four” changed to “twelve”. 7. Pg 591-592 - An entire paragraph was changed in later editions. Dumbledore’s dialogue to Draco Malfoy on the Astronomy Tower, where he tries to persuade Draco to switch sides. Book is in good overall condition. Binding/spine is firm. Pages are excellent. Two small creased page corners at end, some notation written on inside cover. Cover has visible wear and staining. Illustrations excellent. This is the sixth book in JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series.
