the father of Russian Futurism David Burliuk (1882-1967) often referred to as the 'Father of Russian Futurism' is the author of these two poems. The first is titled The Great and Meek Bolshevik and dedicated to Tolstoy on the 100th anniversary of his birth and the second was written in celebration of Maksim Gorky's 60th birthday. First edition; 8vo (22 x 15 cm); 32pp. including title-page, with two illustrations by the author, original publisher's wrappers, a very good copy.
