The Sensory Order. An Inquiry into the Foundations of Theoretical Psychology.

£800 · Offered by Maggs Bros Ltd

Hayek’s second book after his move to Chicago, The Sensory Order is the final form of a thesis Hayek had developed in Vienna in the 1920s on philosophical psychology. Hayek argues that there are inherent limits to the human mind’s capacity to understand itself, and that human beings know much more than they can ever explicitly explain. An American edition was published in Chicago in the same year with no established precedence. Cody Ostyrem B-10.
