Dead Fingers Talk. First edition, first impression, inscribed by the author on the title page, "For Nelson Lyon, William S. Burroughs 12/14/88". Lyon (1939-2012), a writer, director, and photographer, was friends with many counter-culture figures, including Burroughs and Andy Warhol. Lyon co-produced Burroughs's 1990 album Dead City Radio.Burroughs's experimental compilation-novel reuses material from three of his previously published works, Naked Lunch, The Soft Machine, and The Ticket That Exploded, using the cut-up technique. There was no contemporary US edition of this title.
